Ever since the first picture of Hwang Jung-eum and Ryu Jun-yeol together was unveiled, I kept praying for a pictorial featuring both of them because that just screamed photo shoot material! I did not know that it was actually a behind-the-scene shot of their Marie Claire photo shoot and just imagine how stoked I was when I saw the pictorial ^^ We still have one month to go until Lucky Romance airs, so I guess this will tide us over until the premiere on May 25th. I love her hairstyle so, so much!
2015 has been an incredible year for Hwang Jung-eum, with two very successful dramas Kill Me, Heal Me and She Was Pretty as well as a romantic comedy film My Sister, The Pig Lady. Both her projects in dramaland especially have garnered lots of love from fans and she has gained more popularity and attention as a result! Coincidentally, the two dramas this year aired on the MBC broadcast network and she looks set to continue this streak with upcoming drama Tyrant on the same channel, which will reunite her with the writer of Incarnation Of Money and Giant if she signs on. After her dramas ended I thought she went to Prague, the capital of Czech Republic for a holiday; but it was also for a photoshoot with ELLE! If you follow her on Instagram, you can see some photographs she took while she was there 🙂 The pictorial is for the magazine’s January 2016 issue, and some shots have been released.
This is actually an interview by Newsen after the online news outlet conducted a poll to choose the couple with the best chemistry in 2015 dramas. Kill Me, Heal Me OTP, Ji Sung and Hwang Jung-eum topped the poll and Newsen went to give the best couple ‘award’ to both of them. The sad thing is they’re not being interviewed together (too bad!!) but at least, we get to see them again! Remember, the time we fell for Ji Sung♡Hwang Jung-eum…the best couple of 2015 (according to netizens)~
Surprise, surprise!! We have a new pictorial this time: Cosmopolitan Korea gathers the four leads of the latest MBC drama on Wed-Thu slot, She Was Pretty, in one place for a photo shoot to grace the pages of the magazine’s October edition. Colour me excited for this! The drama aired its pilot episode last night, and the timing for their pictorial is just perfect to lure more fans into watching. Plus, it is a rom-com set in a magazine company, so it’s just fitting for the leads to have a photo shoot of their own to promote the series…right?
When it rains, it pours. This week seems like a busy week for drama fans and production teams as the promotion for the upcoming dramas is kicked up a notch, making the wait for them even more difficult. Although we’re still in the month of August, the September and October dramas are hard at work, gearing up for their respective premieres, and we get to have our first look(s) into these dramas: She Was Pretty, The God of Merchant: Gaekju 2015, and Six Flying Dragons.
