Another year is going to end and another year is coming in less than 24 hours. Sounds pretty fast, right? Many dramas started and ended, some being better than the others and a few went down the lane pretty miserably. Rambles aside, this year is pretty much a good and bad year for me. The reasons, in no particular order…
Love to see them together, but hate to see them apart.
Sometimes, the word ‘extension’ just serves as an alternate meaning of ‘lagging the story’ for me. Some might view it from a positive angle: more episodes means more time to ogle at your favorite actors or actresses, but for me, more episodes means a stretch of story line that may include unnecessary actions and probably, extensive amount of angst in between. Protect the Boss might be one of the few which survived from the negative effects, although there are some points that aren’t that necessary but included, thanks to the extension. Now I sound like someone who despise it so much but most of the time, it does mean bad news.
Leave the word aside: the story now take a different turn, right into a world with less laughter and a little bit of angst coming in.
Looks like this is the final week of Protect the Boss (sobs) and the next contender for Wed-Thu drama, Tree with Deep Roots will begin airing on 5th October. Young King Sejong doesn’t let go of this opportunity to pay a visit to DN Group and it turns out that he’s on good terms with both of the chaebols! A potential bromance? Bring it on!
Too many things to say but the words doesn’t appear in my mind at all.
The stills are pouring out like crazy! This time, I took it from the Twitter and they’re so fast in uploading the pics. I do think that they’re as excited as the viewers. And since the preview for ep 13 was out yesterday, the stills are from the preview (as for the time being) but they are so cute. Congratulations SBS, you’ve just piqued my interest up for tonight’s episode.
Dear show, thanks for giving me a chance to enter your imaginary world. It’s an impulse to start watching you back then, but I know, that was one of the best decision I’ve ever made in my Kdrama watching history and yeah, I’ll never going to regret anything about it, come hell or high water.
One of the great things about SBS dramas is they have such a great team of cameraman and photographers. Besides the excellent camera work, the stills taken during the filming are so pretty and it has the ability to make people feel giddy, just from trying to picture the scenes. It feels good to go stalking the official website of Protect the Boss and looking at the pictures. My old habit since 49 Days has returned: saving the stills in my computer. Now, it’s their turn~ the bosses and the secretary!
[This post will be updated until this week ends]
I’m back for a very short time from my hiatus and the first thing I did when I got my chance to go online is scrolling down dramabento and have a peek on Protect the Boss‘s recaps. I’m crazy enough about it to have it comes into my dreams every day and made me replayed episode 7 for countless times before I got the recent episodes. Waiting for a new episode is already a torture, but having something that keeps holding you from watching is even worse. Mu-neun-nim, please save me from this craziness~ I need to score in my exams! I think I’ll refrain myself from going online, starting from today. I’m going to miss my routine *sobs* Continue reading “Addicted to the Bosses”
If this week of mine is full of tiring presentations, it’s different in their world. It’s a week full of love for everyone! How I wish I can live like them, but they also have their own problems. After all, dramas are all about humans, and where we can find living souls without a problem? Even the happiest people have their own hard times. It’s just they know how to enjoy their life to the fullest. Plus, being a person full of love is a big help too.
..and mine has just went a notch higher for them.
I do think that I’m being too addicted to this drama. Basically, I will try to watch it from the moment I downloaded it. First without subs, then with not-that-proper-subs, after that with proper subs, and continuously replaying it when I feel like I need a good laugh. Awww..While I’m still feeling guilty because I have too much doubt when I first started watching it, now I am so grateful to have the chance to enjoy this drama. And on top of that, I don’t have to endure that much anger on the supposed-to-be-meanie Na-Yoon as she is just another crybaby who gets left out every single time. I enjoy her presence-just-to-be-ignored very much.
