This is actually the photo shoot done by Japanese broadcasting station KNTV with the main cast of Splendid Politics aka Hwajung (sans Cha Seung-won ㅠㅠ) during the interview session with the stars last month, but I just want to share these pictures here because I love how cheerful the cast looked in them! The drama is popular among the drama fans in Japan, and it won’t be a surprise to me if the station will eventually air the series later. So..meet Princess jungmyung, King Injo, Hong Joo-won, and Kang In-woo in modern clothes!
I’m bummed that we don’t get any couple shot of Lee Yeon-hee and Han Joo-wan because I think that they really look good together! Well, Lee Yeon-hee looks good with anyone technically, but I ship them in the drama! I find it funny to see how harmless and innocent Kim Jae-won in this pictorial compared to his portrayal of Injo, but that is probably just a part of life as an actor. Of course, they won’t forget the lovely OTP Seo Kang-joon and Lee Yeon-hee, and the young actor is so youthful looking that I won’t really mind if they keep their characters’ age as the same as the historical figures.

EDIT: More shots, as tagged on the pictures. Yeay for more of the lovelies!
Has Cha Seung Won left the drama?
Yeah, because his character’s arc ended at ep 30..
Awww….that’s sad for the viewers…
Sad to see him go but there’s Kim Jae-won, although his character as the next king is annoying XD
I love Kim jaewon, he has such a captivating innocent smile.
Yes! But he’s killing it in Hwajung as the weak and insecure king.
How does he manage to stay looking so young? I swear he looks exactly the same as he was during his My Love Patzzi days. Maybe it’s surgical procedures but I noticed most Koreans celeb look much younger than they are in the past.
Cosmetics do play important role too in my opinion. Plus, getting moderate procedures seems like common practice in SK and I don’t really mind it, as long as they’re happy 🙂
Would like to know the brand name of the jumper she’s wearing!
It’s from Celine 2015 Pre-fall Collection, a French brand 🙂
