Kill Me, Heal Me – Episode 2

More clues are thrown at us in this episode, providing a big picture of what is happening to all the characters. Although it means that we are one step closer to knowing about the main players, I only more questions for everything. As much as I am impatient for the new episodes and new personalities of Do-hyun, I can only wait here for the time to pass by and bring me to Wednesday. Wait, does it show how much I am loving this show??

[Episode 2]

Although he couldn’t really avoid the hit, Se-gi took it well, complete with the Matrix-style bend before finishing off Jacket Guy with a few more beatings. He turned his attention towards Ri-jin and insisted that he appeared because she summoned him from a long time ago. Ri-jin tried everything, from “I don’t know you!” to “I don’t like could and rough man!”, but Se-gi thought that everything would be okay because he liked her. Heh. He kept advancing towards Ri-jin, asking for her to play with him but suddenly stopped when Ri-jin screamed “Stop!”. Oh, was he being hypnotized by her? He obeyed her every words and Ri-jin grabbed the chance to run away screaming for taxi…while Se-gi’s lips curled into a smile. Ohhh he was just playing along with her supposed hypnosis!

Ri-jin was lucky to catch a cab and headed back to the hospital…until she realized that Se-gi was hot on her tail, riding a bike. If that’s not creepy enough, he even winked at his newfound love. No wonder the lady was so freaked out! They ended up at the hospital’s doorstep, with Se-gi insisting that it’s her turn to play with him since he already did his part earlier. It’s kind off sad to hear Se-gi saying that he didn’t even know when he would come back. Ri-jin suspected that he’s some kind of a prison escapee and had enough of his nonsense, but she could not ignore his bleeding forehead from the fight earlier. Maybe it’s a medical practitioner’s conscience? Se-gi stated that he hated hospitals but still followed her inside like an obedient child.

In the treatment room, Ri-jin told him to take off his clothes for her to treat his injuries and he took the instruction literally, completely undressing himself behind her. Oops! Ri-jin screamed, ordering him to put on his clothes back while her eavesdropping colleagues thought that it was not exactly a threatening moment for the tough cookie Ri-jin. Everything calmed down and Ri-jin finished treating Se-gi’s forehead, but Se-gi belatedly realized that she was a psychiatrist at the hospital. It’s not a favourable thing, since their encounter might turn out to be an ill-fated relationship. After giving it a thought, he took her phone and put his number in her contact list while Ri-jin tried to wrestle it out of his grasp.

Se-gi: Remember this too. Someone with the same face as mine but with a different name is fake. There’s only one Shin Se-gi with this face. I’m the only one, so you can never forget my eyes.

Ri-jin freed herself from him and fled the room, with Se-gi still following after her. She saw Dr. Park and asked whether she should help him with anything, but Dr. Park was still angry at her sudden disappearance earlier. Se-gi won’t let her getting bullied and asked Dr. Park (with his hand on the physician’s throat) whether he could take Ri-jin out. Ri-jin had nowhere to run since she didn’t have any other excuse and was made to pretty up herself for the so-called date.

Se-gi got a call…and it was from Secretary Ahn. It was almost effortless for Se-gi to pose himself as Do-hyun, talking to Secretary Ahn through the phone and finding out that Dr Seok, whom Do-hyun was looking for, was there at the same hospital. Dr Seok was looking at Do-hyun’s recording describing his symptoms when Do-hyun dropped by, but it was actually Se-gi sans eyeliner, posing off as the polite Do-hyun. Oh, snap. He reverted back to his violent self (not to forget to tap his fingers!) to deal with the psychiatrist who tried to get rid of him. Luckily, Secretary Ahn felt uneasy and decided to go to the hospital although Se-gi told him to head back home.

The office was turned upside down and Se-gi marveled at a scalpel, thinking that it would be a decent gift for the suicide addict Yo-sub. Dr Seok knew about the other persona too, and Se-gi asked him to convey his warning to Do-hyun: quit trying to get rid of his alternate personae, or they would all die together with him. He also wanted the impossible, that was to have Do-hyun put to silence so that he could live freely as Shin Se-gi. Dr. Seok nearly passed out from the choke but thank God, Do-hyun came back at the right time.

Dr Seok assured him that he was okay since he had a thick neck. It’s a different situation for Do-hyun as he learned that Se-gi might have found a reason for him to be stronger, and that involved his first love. Do-hyun thought that Chae-yeon might be in danger since Se-gi tended to use violence if his feelings were not reciprocated and dashed towards the entrance, passing by Ri-jin (who had been waiting to go out with Se-gi since eons ago) like a strong wind…

Ri-jin wondered why he was ignoring her and Do-hyun didn’t recognize her at first. Her words jogged his memories of her at the club and Do-hyun, still thinking that Ri-jin was a patient, apologized politely for causing a misunderstanding. LOL! Ri-jin was totally offended and taken aback with the sudden change in the strange man who confessed to her earlier, while Do-hyun cheered her up and wished her the best for her treatment. HAHAHA! Poor Ri-jin returned to her night shift, brushing her teeth angrily at the thought of being stood up by Do-hyun.

Secretary Ahn arrived at the right time at the hospital and Do-hyun took his car, heading straight to Chae-yeon’s house. He went there to remind her about his different self using vague words, leading her into thinking that he was just drunk. Upon realizing that Ki-joon was actually at her place, Do-hyun knew that he shouldn’t interrupt them, but he thanked her for calling him on last year’s Christmas. As Ki-joon was enjoying his time with Chae-yeon, Do-hyun drove back home and warned Se-gi not to touch his people, or he would die.

Do-hyun made up his mind to stay in the country instead of going back to the US, since Se-gi would only try to come back with him finding a reason to do so. He used the remaining days until his official entrance to the company to equip himself with the details and keeping his mental condition at the optimum level. He also took great care of tracking his own movement so that he won’t go astray and let the other sides of him control his body. His goal for the time being was to find another psychiatrist who could treat him secretly, someone who could bring his secrets to the grave..

..and Ri-jin promised to do so, but for Suk-hee’s case for the time being. The club addict lady was originally an aspiring doctor coming from a family chock full of doctors, but she was sent there because she decided to dance for the rest of her life. Ri-jin tried to bait her with a promise to go for a clubbing session in return of taking medicine, prompting Suk-hee to jump from underneath her duvet. Ri-jin was horrified to see her red eyes makeup, which, according to Suk-hee, “was a popular Twilight burgundy eyes look, inspired by EXO’s Baekhyun”. Ri-jin was clueless about it but Suk-hee had another thing Ri-jin should know: the gossip about her foiled date had spread around the hospital.

Ri-jin was quick to dispel the rumour among her fellow residents, but Se-gi’s jacket was just another proof that she was indeed dumped on the night before. She decided to throw it away but soon realized that it was an original jacket instead of a knockoff. Ri-jin called Se-gi but no one picked the phone, as Do-hyun was immersed in his meditation. So off it went into the bin..before ending up in Ri-jin’s car, because she felt too much of a waste to throw away the leather jacket.

She went back to her home/ bar aptly named Ssangri (The Ri Twins!) and her father gave her a good scare. I am sure Ri-jin was a very jumpy lady to begin with, so it’s possible for her to be easily terrified of anything. The daddy, Oh Dae-oh (Park Jun-gyu) thought that the jacket was a gift for him and he was so happy to try it on at once. Awww! Ri-jin didn’t have the heart to spoil her dad’s mood and tried her luck, saying that it was too small for him, but he insisted that it wasn’t. Ri-jin’s mother, Ji Sun-young (Kim Hee-jung), was ecstatic to have her only daughter home and the mother-daughter pairing screamed at Daddy Oh that the jacket was too small for him. Hehehe!

Ri-jin lent her ears to her mom’s talk about their family’s men: Daddy Oh’s overly helpful self and Ri-on’s self-induced nightmare because of his latest project as a detective/mystery author. Ri-jin went to Ri-on’s room and her curiosity made her pull a slider hiding a picture, but Ri-on managed to stop her right before she could see the man in the picture. Ri-on wondered if she was spying on his item for a publishing company, but Ri-jin was only there carrying out their mother’s order. Do-hyun was in the picture, and I think we already knew who’s the owner of the big blackboard in the beginning of episode 1…

The twins joined Mama Ji in the kitchen, who sighed at her fate with two troublesome children: one’s prone to daily injuries by the patients and the other one was killing many people in his novels. Nevertheless, Ri-jin gave her an assurance that their happy family would only contribute to their healthy mental condition. They had an outdoor food feast (pot lid barbeque!) coupled with fresh beer and it was clear how close and happy they were despite being a small family.

Ri-on and Ri-jin had a stargazing session over some coffee later that night while discussing about Ri-on’s condition. Ri-jin advised him not to be too immersed in the world he created as he could be affected later, but Ri-on thought that separating his lives as the writer Omega and the free soul Oh Ri-on gave him a sense of security while leading a comfortable life, just like Jekyll and Hyde. Ri-jin immediately thought of the different sides of Se-gi/Do-hyun she saw before and wondered if it was fun to define yourself into different personalities like that. Well, according to Writer Oh here, it could be a way to protect oneself against the world.

The discussion made Ri-jin recall her encounters with Do-hyun and she realized that his eyes were different, just like what Se-gi hinted. It was a good thing for Do-hyun since he was able to control his ‘siblings’ and he’s ready to assume his position at the company. President Cha and Ki-joon were already at the company by the time Chairman Seo and Do-hyun arrived there, but things did not look good between President Cha and Chairman Seo. Do-hyun was reminded by his grandma to be on his guard all the time, as the father-son duo were experts at playing sheep.

We got to see the ladies of Seungjin Group on the course: Ki-joon’s mother Yoon Ja-kyung (Kim Na-woon) grew tense when Madam Shin arrived there, gloating about her son to her friend over the phone. Madam Yoon ignored her and left the course, but Madam Shin caught her in the building and kept addressing Madam Yoon as her sister-in-law. They were on bad terms with each other, mainly because Madam Shin was not included in the family registry and Madam Yoon insisted that she was not related to her. Hair-pulling began between the two women, with Madam Shin reminding Yoon that her husband was still alive and Do-hyun was still her son. So, the person in the nursery home had to be Cha Jun-pyo, Do-hyun’s father..

Back to ID Ent., Ki-joon went to Do-hyun’s office and the cousins knew that they would have to face the bloody battle for being the group’s next successor. Ki-joon did not hesitate to show that he had the upper hand when he said that he saw a different side of the family’s good boy at the club. Do-hyun grew tense and his cousin reminded him not to do anything, like taking drugs, since they’re not overseas at the moment. The jacket had to go ASAP!

Ri-jin drove to the hospital, with Mama Ji telling to pick her future husband among the doctors (“Not the patients!”) so that she could quit her dangerous job. She received a text from Daddy Oh, who thanked her for the jacket. Awww he really liked it and admitted that it was actually small for him! Someone approached her…and it was Jacket Guy! Ohhh! Do-hyun received a call from the guy, threating to kill Ri-jin should he failed to bring his jacket. Good guy Do-hyun deserted his workplace and turned his wardrobe upside down searching for the said jacket, but he couldn’t find it anywhere inside the house.

Secretary Ahn tried to persuade Do-hyun into going back to the office since he would have a meeting soon, but Do-hyun couldn’t abandon the matter with a woman’s life at stake. He suddenly thought of an idea and urged Secretary Ahn to hit him, since Se-gi would appear when he’s hurt. The secretary decided to give it a go…with a weak slap on Do-hyun’s face. Harhar! He punched him but it was still too weak and took off his glasses before delivering a hard punch onto Do-hyun’s stomach. Do-hyun curled in pain and yeah, someone’s coming to replace Do-hyun!

Kill.Me.Heal.Me.E02.150108.HDTV.H264.450p-LIMO.avi_003619034

Except that the eyes turned golden instead of the standard purple for Se-gi, and Secretary Ahn got no response when he asked whether the man was Se-gi. Instead, he was greeted by a fist-clenching man speaking in Jeolla-do dialect and Secretary Ahn also knew this guy with his 5:5 hair. Everyone, meet Ferry Park.

[END of Episode 2]

I died laughing at the saturi-speaking Ji Sung. Yup, he was from Yeosu and his name was even mentioned in Reply 1994 by Yoon-jin! I have to  remind myself that this is the only beginning and we still have the other four personalities to make their respective appearances. If falling for one Ji Sung was not enough, now we have to deal with SEVEN of his characters in one single drama. I hope my heart won’t collapse after this drama ends!

I can’t help but to think that good guy Do-hyun is quite similar to Ji Sung in real life, since he is an obedient son to his parents. It is easy to fall for Do-hyun and sympathize with him, since it is not easy trying to deal with six different sides of himself, as if he does not have enough problems in his life. But then, each of them might represent the repressed sides of him and his childhood trauma is probably the main reason for his split personalities.

For now, we have been introduced to the dominant Se-gi and his tendency to go all parasite against the host Do-hyun. Bad boy is cool, but him being a threat for Do-hyun is not cool at all. Somehow, Se-gi is like a rebellious version of Do-hyun but mentally younger, despite being described as having the same age as Do-hyun. He’s violent but has this kind of innocence in him, well, when he’s not trying to knock someone down. But he is still dangerous!

Kill.Me.Heal.Me.E02.150108.HDTV.H264.450p-LIMO.avi_002385166

I guess it’s confirmed that Ri-on is following Do-hyun’s life closely, as he is the subject of the novel Ri-on is working on. Is he making Do-hyun an antagonist who killed his own family in the novel? It will be interesting to see how much he knows about Do-hyun and if he has even encountered Do-hyun’s other selves. He is one of the mysterious characters so far, from his family to his work details. I am not sure if he’s aware of his own attraction towards Ri-jin, because his stare lingers a second longer each time he look at the little sister. Well, at least we know that they’re not actually related from the get go, so erase all the incest thoughts! His bickering with Ri-jin is adorable and her, who doesn’t want an older brother like him? We still have a long way to go and there is a lot of secrets to unfold soon, so I’m just gonna enjoy the cute that is Ri-jin’s father, Daddy Oh. Is his name supposed to be Audio? Definitely better than Oreo.

Seungjin Group is one heck of a family that could rival the Royal Family of Joseon. There are tons of secrets and shady things behind each of the family members, and of course, lots and lots of questions: Was the car accident which killed the first chairman a staged one? Why did Madam Shin left the family after giving birth to Do-hyun? Why the President position went to Do-hyun’s legal mother first instead of his father? Who physically abused Do-hyun? How did the fire broke out at the family’s mansion? Last but not least: why was Do-hyun’s father kept hidden all this while by Chairman Seo? I’m keeping tabs on the show to see if they’re going to answer these question or not, but hopefully they will.

Kill.Me.Heal.Me.E02.150108.HDTV.H264.450p-LIMO.avi_000503026

Saving the best for the last….Ri-jin and Se-gi. OMG yes Hwang Jung-eum and Ji Sung can burn down my screen with all the stares and I will happily accept my fate. Don’t be mad at me, for I haven’t had the chance to check out their previous project together, Secret, but I am well aware of these two’s acting prowess. Their mad chemistry is almost dizzying, because the sparks between them are palpable! It’s only between Se-gi and Ri-jin for now, but I am sure Do-hyun will be a rival for Se-gi in love and chemistry soon. Pray that I can survive until the new episode comes out!

STOP all the feels from attacking me!

  1. Yes it shows how much you’re loving this show 😛 Hahaha, jacket guy for you, bathroom guy for me 😀 It was creepy when Se Gi considered giving a gift to Yo Seob o.O Before living the hospital when Do Hyun said so many times sorry to Origin was so funny too xD It’s going to get quite complicated between Origin, Orion and the personalities of Do Hyun! Dat Suk Hee bed-dance though… 😀 Ah! About the father’s jacket! I read it in another recap and then noticed it! The one father’s wearing is brownish whereas the original one was black, they couldn’t find the right size maybe? XD And i totally agree on the blackboard on the beginning! From that: “Awww! Ri-jin” Awww Ri Jin 😛 When Oh twins and the mother did the advertisement laugh all together, it was so awesome! 😀 And i loved the twins scene while stargazing! OK, i’m literally scrolling upwards to read one paragraph, then downwards to write something and so it goes on 😛 I think i will hate president Cha and Ki Joon a lot in the forthcoming episodes, i already do lol. Where is that nursery home? :O Loved it when Do Hyun’s mother pulled her in-law’s hair, generally i love this actress, she’s always classy and badass, even when she’s villainous at some roles! 5:5 HAIR! LOL!

You’ll find yourself drooling over 7 Ji Sung’s 😛 I have only one Origin 😀 I’m really curious what Orion will uncover about Do Hyun’s story! And i’m pretty sure someone from the family is involved in all these incidents that appeared like accidents, i think that’s where “WHO” refers to, in search for answers. Daddy Oh XD Feels like French for Audio, d’ Audio xD “Seungjin Group is one heck of a family that could rival the Royal Family of Joseon.” Yeeee Maaaama! I have the same questions as well! Good for writing them down to find issomething will remain in the sphere of our fantasy 😀 “Don’t be mad at me, for I haven’t had the chance to check out their previous project together, Secret, but I am well aware of these two’s acting prowess. ” i totally feel you, we’re on the same boat on this one and every word you wrote there reflects my thoughts! The ending in combination with the picture was Oh-some!

    1. I really hope that the love I have for this show won’t turn me into a sappy romantic, waxing poetic verses just to express myself. Pwahahaha!

Pssst at first I was thinking of naming him Eyeliner Guy but Jacket Guy feels more suitable. Heh. I decided to practice ‘suspension of belief’ for the jacket and just assume that it’s black during the night and brown under the sun! Still, Daddy Oh is a cutie pie!

I realize that Se-gi is much more dangerous that what I thought initially, because not only he’s the strongest persona, but he also knows Do-hyun and the other personae very well. He can even pose as Do-hyun when the situation calls for it, and it seems that he has done it before this. I am curious whether he know anything about the other ‘sleeping’ personae inside Do-hyun.

LOL at Oh-some! I’m so going to use this frequently in the future! I hope Oh Family will be involved in curing Do-hyun, because it will be amazing! I’m sure Daddy Oh will not hesitate to help the kind boy~ I am giggling just from imagining all the possible things to happen if Do-hyun accidentally have too much drink and turn into a different persona in front of the family. That will be crazy!

Pardon the incoherent sentences. I’m just too excited! >.<

      1. Hahaha! I think it has the potential to turn us into something like that once things will get emotionally complicated 😀

“Psssst” XD Yeah, his eyeliner failed big time, so jacket guy is more suitable, for some reason to my eyes he always remained the bathroom guy lol Suspension of belief xD Yeaaah, daddy Oh Oh-ns! I’m afraid i will be turning everything Oh-oriented into something Oh-riented from now on in reviews and such xD

Yeaaah, Se Gi never sleeps while not on the surface, he observes from the darkest pit of Do Hyun’s body every personality’s reactions! He uses psychiatry for his own plans! Posing as Do Hyun was quite frightening! If he did that before the writer-nim might use it as a flashback at some point, it would be interesting to rewatch a scene i thought it was Do Hyun whereas in fact it was Se Gi impersonating Do Hyun.

Use it wherever you like xD I’m really afraid there’s going to be an Oh-ctionary 😛 Yush, i wanna watch Oh family big time and what their part will be in Do Hyun’s situation! Hahaha, daddy Oh doing dancing moves in front of an OTTOKE Do Hyun XD Now that will be interesting with the drink and personality-changing while with the family! And i imagined another scenery, Do Hyun on an alcohol overdose entering a spasm crisis through which all the personalities will be popping up one after the other after a few seconds in a struggle to gain control, something like that would be pure lunacy O.O

Excitement is part of the game XD

        1. Let the Oh-some punny games begin! I’m hoping we can come out with a Dicti-Oh-nary in the end. Is that being too ambitious of me? Hahaha!

Having the personalities popping out one after another during a drinking scene would be crazy but wacky. I’m looking forward to any drunk scene from now on! Awww I’m totally Oh-kay with more of Daddy Oh’s dance, because he’s one cutie pie that might be a good friend of Do-hyun’s alters, or even comfort the suicide addict one!

Oh-Oh-Oh thank God it’s already Wednesday!

        2. Dicti-Oh-nary 😀 It’s not ambitious, it’s a prophecy! XD

Any drunk scene will be more than welcome! Yeaaaah, Daddy Oh might have some crazy cool powers that will be soothing Do Hyun’s torments!

And Wednesday is a good day, just like Thursday 😀

  2. Hi, thank you for your hard work, from ep 1 I was caught with this story. I´m a Ji Sung´s fan since Swallow the sun and love him. I saw Secret and the chemestry between them is like you say “hot” jejeje. I hope that the series continue in this way and deliver good show.
Just 2 more days for a new ep.
Take care and see you wednesday 😀

    1. hugs Thanks for the well wishes! I am waiting for Wednesday over here while drumming my fingers against the keyboard 😛

You’re a senior Ji Sung fan then! I became his fan during Protect the Boss days and this man is a chameleon! Maybe I should watch Secret ASAP?? For my OTP?

  3. Thanks again for the recap!! I think we’re turning your recaps into our little spazz site for this drama and actors (well where else should we do it anyway hahaha).

I knew it, I missed things about their family tree lol. So uhm, Ki Joon is an adopted son? (I read it somewhere but can’t find it again lol) aaaand Ri On and Ri Jin aren’t blood-related?? Thank you for explaining things. And here I was getting confident that Ri On won’t get in the way of Ri Jin and Se Gi/Do Hyun. Oh well, we have to give our lead guy(s?) a rival hehe.

Their family issues seem to be more interesting than I initially thought. I’m also hoping that we’ll get the answer to all of these some time in the drama but I’m always prepared for dramas to fail at some point as well hehe.

I loved that scene on the car wherein Do Hyun is ‘talking’ to Se Gi about how he’s not going to let him win. If he dies, they all die with him. I hope there’ll be another scene like that in the upcoming episodes. The funny scenes are really lovely and enjoyable but I would love to see more on how Do Hyun deals and fights with his condition.

OMG I don’t really know if I should push you to watch Secret because their characters on that drama are crazy, sometimes I don’t really know if I want them together or not. But for the amazing chemistry and acting prowess of these two, I think you should watch it. Prepare for the heartache though, but I believe it will be well-compensated in the end 😀

Thanks again and I’m looking forward to your future recaps 😉

    1. It’s an honour for the blog to be the place for spazzing and discussing about this drama! You’re welcomed here at any time 😉

I initially thought so too, but the conversation between Ki-joon and his daddy dearest might have hinted that Do-hyun is the illegitimate child, not Ki-joon. Also, Ki-joon is Do-hyun’s second cousin. Lots of things to be explained, still, so we can only wait..

I don’t know if knowing about the twins made me notice Ri-on’s lingering stares, but I feel it’s appropriate to address their status in order to avoid any potential goosebumps watching the twins. Heh. But then, even if Ri-on is Ri-jin’s real brother, he will likely try to separate our OTP, since he is likely to find out about Do-hyun’s condition from following Do-hyun closely. Do-hyun is not going to have it easy either way…oh, poor guy!

The confrontation between the alters will be interesting. I’m sure they will get creative in portraying different alters communicating with Do-hyun, just like how Se-gi left a video recording on Do-hyun’s phone. I also noticed that Do-hyun frequently stood in front of the mirror or any reflective surfaces, so the scenes of him talking with the alters might appear later 🙂

Let’s see if I have the guts to watch Secret soon…or I might have to wait until KMHM ends first so that my brain won’t be confused 😀

  4. I’m loving the show too! It caught me by surprise actually, since it’s probably the last drama I would think to like. But it’s been surprisingly so fun. I don’t think they portrayed DID well (I don’t think they intend to at this point), but who cares when Cha Do-hyun has 7 interesting personalities inside of him! So excited how the others would be like. Se-gi is awesome, and I can’t wait for Perry’s antics (and the others of course). Someone should give Ji Sung an award already. Do-hyun, Se-gi, and Perry are so distinct even when they’re both dressed in regular Do-hyun outfits. He’s amazing.

My only hope is that the story stays as wacky as it has been so far. Go all the way, I say. At one point Do-hyun needs to control his little group of unwelcome individuals. But I’m hoping that’s before an epic fight between Se-gi and Do-hyun, perhaps in some sort of 4th dimension only available to the 7 personalities.

The bit about Ri-on falling for Ri-jin kind of freaks me out though because how can they be twins but not really twins? Incest is a huge red flag for me, but if they insist they’re not blood-related, there better be a good explanation for it. I kind of wished Ri-on doesn’t have a love line, but who can deny Park Seo-joon and his falling-in-love gazes? He’s too good. Even in that ridiculous hair.

    1. I totally understand your feelings, because I went from “Let’s give it a try..” to “OMG where’s the next episode?!” after the first episode. Ji Sung deserves the award, really! I guess they’re making the drama fun and wacky without being too slapstick, possibly because of the healing theme portrayed by the drama. There are vulnerable moments and they don’t feel out of place, luckily, so I think we’re on the right track. Hopefully they don’t make it a total melo towards the end, because there’s so much potential (and so many personalities!) to be explored..

Wow, epic fight between the personalities sounds great. Maybe it can happen inside Do-hyun’s mind or in his dreams?

I think Ri-on knows about their real twins status but Ri-jin doesn’t. Based on what Ri-jin said about Daddy Oh being too kind, Ri-on might be a child he was entrusted to take care of. Ri-on is totally cool even without a love line so hopefully they will focus more on his Writer Omega side and also playing brother to Ri-jin. The twins are awesome when it comes to their bickering.

Wait, Park Seo-joon has bad hair? …Maybe his face distracted me from noticing it! XD

      1. Oh the dreaded melo dip! I’m pretty sure they’ll get there at one point, as all dramas do, but I’m hoping (and praying to the dramagods) that they still retain their eccentric energy that’s been established in the first week.

Ri-on knowing he’s a non-family makes sense of his feelings though. If you think you’re blood related, you need to be crazy to have romantic feelings for you twin (another drama idea?). I hope they spend more time on his Omega character and his obsession with the Seungjin Group though. Not-so-incest love is so early 2000s. Or maybe they’ll make a spoof out of it? There’s so much potential to this.

And yes, his hair is quite bad. That orange color is not flattering. But his face does ease the pain a little.

        1. Minimize the melo and maintain the wacky, we’ll all be happy!

Since Ri-on’s character description states that it will be a secret one-sided love (or something along that line), there’s hope we will see more of his Writer Omega self going detective on Seungjin Group. Since the show loves puns and reference to other dramas, we will likely get more of them in the future!

Let’s just ignore the hair and focus on his face, but a makeover is welcomed. Secretary Ahn needs it badly too. My poor ahjusshi!

Rant Out, Souls!
