I don’t think I’ll be able to move from Chicago Typewriter anytime soon. Sometimes, it’s the drama you promised not to invest in too much ended up owning your mind, body, and soul, not to mention the tears. CT was like that to me. It was during the pre-emptions between episodes 8 and 9 that I realized that I was lost without the drama to bury myself in, proving that I was already too deep into it. I blame the drama and its soothing, lullaby-like background songs (despite the heavy themes looming behind), which became my respite from the real world in the past two months. The wait was worth it, and I’m left feeling hollow after the finale.
Their friendship is a well-known secret to the fans of kdramas, especially after the highly anticipated cameo Yoo Ah-in had in Song Hye-kyo’s hit drama Descendants’of the Sun last year as a birthday gift for her, hence it’s not a surprise W Korea nabbed both of them to be featured on the cover of the March issue for the magazine. Being both fashion icons and trendsetters, the pair is ethereal and dreamlike in the pictorial, which is accompanied by interviews with them. Check out the shots!
It’s already holiday season for the magazines as their December edition slowly make their way into the market, and this means new pictorials for us! A number of male stars have been chosen to be the cover models for the magazines and I find it a rare occurrence since most of the time, the covers are dominated by female stars and models. I’m just happy to see a pictorial but I won’t complain at all for this feast!
Hope is not lost in times of despair.
It’s here, it’s here, it’s here!
