It has been an ardent wish of mine to see the child actors we love to be reunited as main leads of their own, and I was beyond ecstatic to learn about Lee Se-young and Yeo Jin-goo’s casting for The Crowned Clown/The Man Who Became King. They have a 5-year difference in age, but that doesn’t stop them from being so comfortable with each other when the camera is not rolling. I thought that their interview accompanying their pictorial for January’s Cosmopolitan must be as fun as watching them play around in the making of videos, and it is a fun interview! Enjoy the rough translation and please excuse all the broken grammar, both in Korean and English. It’s been a while!
Dramas come and go but some of them stay with us for a long, long time. The previous Wed-Thu battle between Descendants of the Sun and Please Come Back, Mister ended in April, and some of the cast are making their appearance on the pages of various magazines this month. I hope this is just the beginning to more pictorials~
Actor Lee Sang-yoon has starred in two dramas on cable network tvN for 2 consecutive years with Liar Game and Twenty Again. Both projects have been pretty successful, especially the latter which was a hit this year. He is seen on the January 2016 issue of COSMOPOLITAN, where he mentioned in the interview that he does not want to do anything besides acting now. Check out his outfits and poses in this pictorial! Is it more Cha Hyun-suk or Ha Woo-jin? 😉
It’s already holiday season for the magazines as their December edition slowly make their way into the market, and this means new pictorials for us! A number of male stars have been chosen to be the cover models for the magazines and I find it a rare occurrence since most of the time, the covers are dominated by female stars and models. I’m just happy to see a pictorial but I won’t complain at all for this feast!
Surprise, surprise!! We have a new pictorial this time: Cosmopolitan Korea gathers the four leads of the latest MBC drama on Wed-Thu slot, She Was Pretty, in one place for a photo shoot to grace the pages of the magazine’s October edition. Colour me excited for this! The drama aired its pilot episode last night, and the timing for their pictorial is just perfect to lure more fans into watching. Plus, it is a rom-com set in a magazine company, so it’s just fitting for the leads to have a photo shoot of their own to promote the series…right?
