Park Bo Gum and Ryu Jun Yeol for Harper’s BAZAAR China

I don’t really put up pictorials of Korean celebrities featured in Chinese magazines because there are a lot of them (plus I can’t even cover all of those from Korean magazine outlets!) but this time, I’m making an exception for these guys. Both Park Bo-gum and Ryu Jun-yeol enjoyed popularity both in South Korea and China thanks to Reply 1988, so Harper’s BAZAAR China courted them for individual pictorials for the magazine’s May edition. Park Bo-gum couples up with a cat for laid-back shots while Ryu Jun-yeol goes minimalist for a black and white pictorial. Check them out!

Jo Jin Woong for 1st Look Vol 109

Behold, Jo Jin-woong’s fans, old and new! The actor will be on the cover of fashion magazine 1st Look Vol 109, accompanied by flowers and a variety of bags in the pictorial. It would have been perfect for a Valentine themed photo shoot, but we don’t mind seeing our sweetheart all year long, am I right? He has been the talk of town (more like the entire kdramaland) thanks to his portrayal of Detective Lee Jae-han in Signal but that does not mean he is going to rest anytime soon; besides his upcoming movie The Handmaiden (Agassi) going to Cannes this May before the Korean premiere in June, he will also appear in three other movies: Hunting, Sea Ice, and Sheriff.

(Somehow, this pictorial also reminds me of his SK Telecom CF)

April Dramas: What’s Your Pick?

This April can be considered as a quiet month for dramaland, save for three new dramas that will begin in the second half of the month. The Wed-Thu dramas on KBS2 and SBS have ended their runs last week, but we will only get one new addition to the currently airing dramas this week. Next week will be the premiere week for the other two, before we enter the busier May.

Lee Je Hoon Goes Dark and Bright for May Magazines

Today is chock full of goodies because it’s raining pictorials left and right! The highlight of the day (for me at least) has to be Lee Je-hoon, who has not one, but two magazine spreads for the upcoming month of May. He has started promoting for his upcoming drama Detective Hong Gil-dong/Phantom Detective and that explains the sudden flurry of news and pictorials of him ELLE chooses a darker indoor shoot for his feature in the magazine, whereas GQ takes him outside for bright and refreshing shots under the sunshine. Check out the released pictures so far, with more to come (hopefully)! He will also appear on Please Take Care of My Refrigerator with Kim Sung-kyun  on the 9th and 16th of May, and on Vapp movie channel tomorrow at 4.30 PM KST.

Hwang Jung Eum × Ryu Jun Yeol for Marie Claire May 2016

Ever since the first picture of Hwang Jung-eum and Ryu Jun-yeol together was unveiled, I kept praying for a pictorial featuring both of them because that just screamed photo shoot material! I did not know that it was actually a behind-the-scene shot of their Marie Claire photo shoot and just imagine how stoked I was when I saw the pictorial ^^ We still have one month to go until Lucky Romance airs, so I guess this will tide us over until the premiere on May 25th. I love her hairstyle so, so much!
