We’re counting down to the last few days of 2016, and after a year of entertainment Dramaland is ready to welcome 2017 with a new batch of upcoming dramas. The magazines are no exception as they are gradually rolling out pictorials of stars featured on their January issues. A lot of my favourites are gracing the zines’ pages, so I decided to put them together in this special. Since it is Christmas month, there will be 12 sets of pictures which would be a mix of December ’16 and January ’17 released pictorials. Are you ready to welcome the new year?
On Sunday’s episode, two stars make their first-time-ever appearance on popular variety show Running Man (RM). Guess who? Both guests are starring in upcoming movie, Detective: The Beginning. They are none other than leading man Kwon Sang Woo and veteran actor Sung Dong Il! Watch them in action as they join the cast members on a mission to find out who their mysterious client X is. And perhaps be in for a surprise?
Teasers are already pouring in for the next drama on tvn’s Fri-Sat slot Ex-Girlfriend Club and it looks wacky. At least that is what the teasers are suggesting, although it’s a well-known fact that tvn has a knack in making those quirky and colourful to lure us in. Well, having Byun Yo-han onboard as the main lead will probably help in creating lots of buzz, and I’m crossing fingers that it will be a fun ride. Wait, it is fun to watch angry ex-girlfriends getting back at their man…right?
Maybe because I’m so affected by Scent of a Woman, this MV makes me cry only with its trailer. There are times where an MV could be as enjoyable as a drama or a movie with a solid storyline, and for me, this is one of them. As the title suggests, it deals about death, and an uncommon issue: a second chance.
One word that comes into my mind when I open my folder of Princess Hours : classic. Re-watching it makes me feel like I’m fifteen again, giggling and crying alone, watching the DVD in the middle of the night. The fact that the story is about school girls and boys makes it dearer to my heart, although I’m nothing near to any kind of royalty. This drama surely brings back so many memories and I can’t help myself but laugh at Shin and Chae-Kyung’s silliness all over again.
