Lee Jun-ki is stealing the hearts of many with his currently-airing drama Moon Lovers (Scarlet Heart: Ryeo) where he stars as the 4th Prince Wang So. His performance is certainly commendable given how deftly he portrays So’s character and emotions, along with the great chemistry he has with leading lady IU, who plays Hae-soo. I am just so happy to see him on screen again after a year! 😄 That being said, Moon Lovers is also reaching its end quite soon and I am pretty sure that he’ll be missed. However, that is not the main point here – the actor graces the November pages of fashion magazine Singles and I love the pictorial’s simplicity! He also posted some of the pictures on his Instagram account 🙂
I cannot believe that it is already October – another year is coming to an end and sometimes I don’t even realise it. As with the time, dramas come and go at great speed. It feels like Moon Lovers (or Scarlet Heart: Ryeo) just aired yesterday, but we have gone beyond the drama’s half-mark. Some of the acting performances from the ensemble cast are one of the best and this brings me to the star of our feature, Hong Jong-hyun who plays 3rd Prince Wang Yo, the main antagonist of the show. I think I have newfound appreciation for the actor because his portrayal of the villainous character has been quite impressive – he has this strong presence that I feel whenever he is in front of his brothers. I’m sure they feel it too, especially the younger ones.
New romantic melodrama On The Way To The Airport premiered on KBS this Wednesday, starring Lee Sang-yoon in his return to a public broadcaster after his past two dramas on cable television and Kim Ha-neul in her comeback drama since 2012’s A Gentleman’s Dignity. I have not watched the pilot episodes yet, but it sure looks good from the pretty posters and teasers! Singles has gathered the two leads for their October issue in a pictorial titled Steady Love; they are also on the magazine’s cover!
I did not expect to have another pictorial of Lee Je-hoon after he concluded the promotion for his latest movie Phantom Detective last month, but Singles have been so generous to court him for another photo shoot, putting him on a plane to Hawaii earlier this month, on the day of Baeksang Arts Awards. Although he did not get to walk on the red carpet or appear at the event with Signal team, at least we get this pictorial…with his slightly longer hair. Me likey.
After concluding her latest drama Remember: Son’s War in February, actress Park Min-young is seen on April’s issue of Singles magazine! She took to Brooklyn, New York to shoot this pictorial and is brimming with radiance in all the shots. Love her hair colour 😄
Park Min-young first caught my attention when she starred in fusion sageuk Sungkyunkwan Scandal back in 2010; the series gained many fans’ support despite mediocre ratings. She quickly followed up this success with manga adaptation drama City Hunter in the following year alongside Lee Min-ho. Recently, she made her mark again with action thriller Healer and had a love line with Ji Chang-wook’s character as the titular hero. Now, she’s back with another drama Remember: Son’s War and plays rookie prosecutor Lee In-ah. I like how In-ah has a mind of her own and does not give in to pressure. It’s heartening to see that the show’s ratings are steadily on the rise! The actress has had some pictorials over the years, and I’ll be waiting for the magazines to feature her this year! If you’re wondering why the male cast of Remember are not featured this week, no worries because it’s coming soon 😉
Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you artistic shots of the leading kings and queens who starred in one of 2015’s hottest romantic comedies! Warning: If you are on data plan, you might not want to open this image-heavy post.
November is going to arrive soon on our doorstep, and the magazines are prepared with pictorials featuring the celebrities with winter wear. The weather is getting colder, but it does not mean the beauty fall sky is going away soon. Singles, Esquire, and CeCi have courted the actors who have been active on the small screen this year to grace the pages of their magazines. Well, they know what I love and I don’t have any complaint 😉
The star for this week is Professor Cha Hyun-suk in tvN drama Twenty Again, Lee Sang Yoon! The hotly airing cable drama has been receiving lots of love from both the Korean and international audience, as seen from the ratings that hit up to 6% (which is very impressive for a cable network) and online hype. Life has been really hectic, so I’ve yet to watch the drama but it’s already on my to-watch list 😀 From the positive response the show has garnered, I can’t wait to watch it already! Now let’s move on to enjoy some pretty pictorials he has had for the past few years.
Woohoo, the pictorial is out! Jung Woo took off to Fiji earlier this month for a photo shoot with Singles Korea, and the magazine is featuring him in its September edition. He has been focusing on his movie career these days; with C’est Si Bon released last February and his upcoming movie Himalaya with Hwang Jung-min in the works, but it’s not too late to wish for his comeback on the small screen. If not 2015, maybe 2016 will have something in store for him? 😀
