It’s already April (time really flies), and I thought I should sum up my 2015 with dramaland. My apologies for it coming so very late, but here’s the list of last year’s dramas I’ve completed and some thoughts about them. As usual, Korea has lots of titles to offer each year but abundance also means that really good dramas can be hard to come by. It’s almost a one in a million chance for us to find a show that can fully blow us away! However, that is also why I continue to be a drama fan even as time passes: because there are gems not to be missed 🙂 The drama choices we have seem never-ending now that there are cable networks (compared to just the Big 3 back then). Furthermore, 2015 is also the year I discovered some great shows outside kdramas!
This is actually an interview by Newsen after the online news outlet conducted a poll to choose the couple with the best chemistry in 2015 dramas. Kill Me, Heal Me OTP, Ji Sung and Hwang Jung-eum topped the poll and Newsen went to give the best couple ‘award’ to both of them. The sad thing is they’re not being interviewed together (too bad!!) but at least, we get to see them again! Remember, the time we fell for Ji Sung♡Hwang Jung-eum…the best couple of 2015 (according to netizens)~
Surprise, surprise!! We have a new pictorial this time: Cosmopolitan Korea gathers the four leads of the latest MBC drama on Wed-Thu slot, She Was Pretty, in one place for a photo shoot to grace the pages of the magazine’s October edition. Colour me excited for this! The drama aired its pilot episode last night, and the timing for their pictorial is just perfect to lure more fans into watching. Plus, it is a rom-com set in a magazine company, so it’s just fitting for the leads to have a photo shoot of their own to promote the series…right?
When it rains, it pours. This week seems like a busy week for drama fans and production teams as the promotion for the upcoming dramas is kicked up a notch, making the wait for them even more difficult. Although we’re still in the month of August, the September and October dramas are hard at work, gearing up for their respective premieres, and we get to have our first look(s) into these dramas: She Was Pretty, The God of Merchant: Gaekju 2015, and Six Flying Dragons.
