New year, new movies of course! Although there’s not much changes except for changing number in years and age (when you’re old like me LOL), there’s something we can be sure of: new movies in production will come out. I’m ecstatic to see not one. but THREE sageuk movies making it into the list of premiering titles in February 2018: one is the ‘Joseon Sherlock Holmes’ 조선명탐정 Joseon Detective 3; the other one is the much anticipated 흥부 Heungbu; last but not least is the second part of the Korean Confucian ‘mechanics’ series, 궁합 Gunghap.
Woohoo, the pictorial is out! Jung Woo took off to Fiji earlier this month for a photo shoot with Singles Korea, and the magazine is featuring him in its September edition. He has been focusing on his movie career these days; with C’est Si Bon released last February and his upcoming movie Himalaya with Hwang Jung-min in the works, but it’s not too late to wish for his comeback on the small screen. If not 2015, maybe 2016 will have something in store for him? 😀
With the recent buzz about the latest Reply series on the web, most of us can’t help but recall all the good, crazy old times with Reply 1994 and Reply 1997. Jung Woo was one of good things about Reply 1994: he swept off most of South Korea’s population with his Oppa-ya’s phenomenon and made us consider getting a kind boyfriend like him, even with his strange way of managing his life. It’s time to put Trash aside for a while as Jung Woo is set to make his comeback on the big screen through the movie C’est si bon, and poses for Vogue’s February edition.
Last minute work is my forte, so I decided to make the last day of 2013 as my appreciation day…but so many things happened that the post was left unattended..until today. 2013 passed by in a blink of an eye, and there are so many things to be appreciated as well some that make me want to complain all day long. Life’s not adventurous without both delightful and not-so-fun things, right? Just like the drama offerings last year, there are some that worth mentioning and they will be in my mind for quite sometime, while others might probably lost themselves in my fading memory.
If someone asks me about the things I remember about the year 1994, honestly speaking, I can’t remember anything about it. I was three years old and I can’t even recall the memories of being a five year old, let alone two years prior. Because of that, watching Answer Me 1994 wasn’t something that I planned to do in the nearest time but last Sunday, I felt it was the right time to dive into the world of 1994.
