I certainly did not plan to start watching Psychopath Diary in the nearest future, but somehow, between moving into a place nearer to work and suddenly having all these free hours to myself made me start watching, because why not? I think it was just before its final work of airing, and about two weeks later, here I am, trying to make myself stop thinking too much about it. I am an easy person, after all, because it doesn’t take much for me to be obsessed with a drama, as long as it manages to make me curious and doesn’t tick my annoy-o-meter. Psychopath Diary has lots of things it’s good at, but there are some kdrama clichés it retained that might somehow ventured on the bad side.
After a long wait, Yoon Si-yoon’s interview for ARENA is out, at last! Too bad the magazine only shared small-sized images for the pictorial online, and I bet that there are lots of B-cuts they did not release :3 I guess we should be thankful that even with Mirror of the Witch coming to an end last week, we still get to see him every Sunday on 2 Days 1 Night. Enjoy the interview!
Almost two years without him gracing our screens, Yoon Si-yoon has been making multiple strides right after completing his mandatory army service: he is currently starring in jtbc’s Mirror of the Witch and joining 2 Days 1 Night as the latest addition to the fixed cast after Kim Joo-hyuk’s departure from the variety. As his fan, I can say that my weekend has been blessed with his appearance on my screen from Friday to Sunday. He donned colourful (and sometimes questionable) clothes for Grazia and the interview has been released. Enjoy!
As the plot goes deeper and we get nearer to the center of everything, Mirror of the Witch has reached its halfway mark in what feels like a blink of an eye. The story is easy to follow but I can see why the opinions are divided for the drama: it’s either exciting or boring, not in between. For me, the joy of watching this little fairy tale is in watching the characters grow (albeit not in the fastest rate), finding solace and support in each other. But that does not mean the baddies are doing nothing; they are lurking from every corners and holes, prying for their targets and goals.
It’s official: I’m under the spell of Mirror of the Witch and I don’t think I can escape easily now that I am this deep into the drama. How did I know? Well, you know you are just infatuated with a show when you can’t stop thinking about it on the day it airs and you are literally staring at the clock waiting for the show to be out, then waiting for both episodes to be available. Forget about subs, because I can’t wait anymore.
