Lee Je-hoon, Ahn Jae-hong, Park Jung-min, Choi Woo-shik. The four actors who have written their own history in movies cross paths by chance in the film Time to Hunt.
Happy September everyone! Let’s hope that it will be good for all of you in dramaland~ Here I’ll be welcoming the new month with my take on 부산행 (Busan-haeng), the latest zombie film that swept the box offices of its native South Korea and countries in the world!
I had the opportunity the catch this much-anticipated film at the theatres – it was like a beautiful painting with many eye-catching elements. Then you know sometimes when we appreciate such artwork for instance and become too engrossed with the prettiness on the surface, we forget that there is also much substance within. Whatever that is inside tells us what the painter wants to portray, the story as well as feelings that he wants to tell and show. That pretty much sums up my experience with Train to Busan: with the issues explored and questions posed throughout, it was definitely more than just the zombie horror.

My Fantastic Funeral was actually broadcast as a two-part special on SBS last month, but I only got the chance to check it out earlier today. The only thing I know about the drama is it stars Kyung Soo-jin and Choi Woo-shik as the leads, but it leaves a deep impression on me. Hours after I finished watching it, all the feelings I had are still intact: the sweetness, the bitterness, and the tears that follow.
November is going to arrive soon on our doorstep, and the magazines are prepared with pictorials featuring the celebrities with winter wear. The weather is getting colder, but it does not mean the beauty fall sky is going away soon. Singles, Esquire, and CeCi have courted the actors who have been active on the small screen this year to grace the pages of their magazines. Well, they know what I love and I don’t have any complaint 😉
Their characters in Hogu’s Love might be in different worlds from each other: Ho-gu is an ordinary webtoon assistant while Do-hee is the nation’s goddess swimmer but the pair’s chemistry flares up in the March edition of Allure, where they pose intimately for the magazine. Can we get more of this ‘drama pairings in magazines’ trends? Because I surely won’t mind seeing more of my OTPs outside the drama. And yes, these two are killing it, both in the drama and in this pictorial.
