As the plot goes deeper and we get nearer to the center of everything, Mirror of the Witch has reached its halfway mark in what feels like a blink of an eye. The story is easy to follow but I can see why the opinions are divided for the drama: it’s either exciting or boring, not in between. For me, the joy of watching this little fairy tale is in watching the characters grow (albeit not in the fastest rate), finding solace and support in each other. But that does not mean the baddies are doing nothing; they are lurking from every corners and holes, prying for their targets and goals.
It’s official: I’m under the spell of Mirror of the Witch and I don’t think I can escape easily now that I am this deep into the drama. How did I know? Well, you know you are just infatuated with a show when you can’t stop thinking about it on the day it airs and you are literally staring at the clock waiting for the show to be out, then waiting for both episodes to be available. Forget about subs, because I can’t wait anymore.
One of the perks of watching less dramas is that you slowly get detached from the updates about the currently airing dramas and even the upcoming ones. Am I heading towards a dramaless life? That sounded like an impossible thing few years back but with the crazy life commitments left and right, it is a possibility. Fear not, I’m still watching dramas though not everything under the sun these days, and one upcoming drama is creeping up into my radar: jtbc’s Maids.

I am still taken aback with the final episode of Nine: Nine Times Time Travel. Wow, that ‘s a brilliant closure to the 20-episode journey through the 20 years of Sun-woo’s life, although we’re just jumping through the time. I find myself smiling, being so satisfied with the ending that can be regarded as an open ending. Nevertheless, I am amazed with the writer Song Jae-jung who has written another masterpiece that should be appreciated by us the drama fans. Kudos to our writer-nim for penning a brilliant tale of a time traveler that will be a memorable work for me.
