I totally did not expect Entertainer to unveil its first teaser today (or technically yesterday) but they did, and guess who is a happy fangirl now? We get a sneak peek of the leads and they were…dancing their hearts out in the teaser. Yes, you read that right. Ji Sung and Hyeri, battling it out on their own dance floor that is the convenience store. Looks like our Manager Shin is scouting his band of entertainers while showing off his own talents.
Everything and everyone associated with Gook-chul literally falls apart at the speed of light in this hour thanks to the efficient and cunning Byun Il-jae, who emerges as the winner with the medical center as his prize. This is just the beginning for Gook-chul’s misery after the death of his parents, and life is not going easy on him at all. Maybe he can learn a thing or two for the future, preparing himself for the big bad showdown against his enemies who are growing in numbers.
Not long after Cosmopolitan back in January, actor Lee Sang-yoon is featured on the April issue of Harper’s Bazaar! This pictorial is in anticipation of his upcoming film Insane (the literal translation of the Korean title 날 보러와요 is Come Watch Me) which will be released at the local cinemas on the 7th of next month. It is his first thriller project and from the bleak poster and trailer below, it appears dark from the outset. The movie also stars Kang Ye-won and is about a producer who sets out to find out the truth about a murder case that was made to look like a fire and the sole survivor of the incident.
Almost two years after Empress Ki, writers Jang Young-chul and Jung Kyung-soon are back with another grand project that is a 50-episode drama. Monster (previously titled Tyrant) premiered yesterday on MBC, going head-to-head with the premiere of Neighbourhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho on KBS2 and Jackpot on SBS, and the first episode retains the same feel as the duo’s previous works: dramatic with fast-paced plot. I love what I have seen so far, and I trust for it to only get better from this point.
I really have to thank SURE for featuring my favourites for its upcoming April issue; first with Son Ho-joon and this time, the magazine courts Baek Jin-hee for a beauty pictorial. She recently wraps up filming the long My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol and currently in talks to join Namgoong Min in Beast’s Beauty, a new SBS weekend drama by the writer-PD duo of The Girl Who Sees Smells. I really hope she will sign up and gains her momentum again through the drama, plus I will get my favourites as the leads! Win-win. Baek Jin-hee also shares her beauty tip together with the pictorial, but it would be nice to have more shots..
