2015: One in a million

It’s already April (time really flies), and I thought I should sum up my 2015 with dramaland. My apologies for it coming so very late, but here’s the list of last year’s dramas I’ve completed and some thoughts about them. As usual, Korea has lots of titles to offer each year but abundance also means that really good dramas can be hard to come by. It’s almost a one in a million chance for us to find a show that can fully blow us away! However, that is also why I continue to be a drama fan even as time passes: because there are gems not to be missed 🙂 The drama choices we have seem never-ending now that there are cable networks (compared to just the Big 3 back then). 2015 in Retrospect

Well, it’s the last day of February, and it is special because we get one extra day this month thanks to the leap year! I think it’s about time for me to have a proper post to say goodbye to 2015. It’s late (I know, I know), but I can’t seem to sit back and write coherent sentences about the dramas I watched last year. Maybe because I don’t really finish that many dramas? My Beautiful Bride: Final Note

If you’re thinking of watching My Beautiful Bride soon or some other time in the future, please don’t read any further. If you’re looking for a review of the show, this is not a good one. If you’re wondering whether you should check out the drama or not, I’d say go for it, especially if you’re a fan of action dramas and slick series from OCN. Coming from the writer of Heartless City Yoo Sung-yeol, the series, while raking in lower ratings compared to the cable shows nowadays, have lots of things to offer to those who are willing to join the fun. Although we still have a little over four months’ left until this year ends, it’s not too much of an exaggeration for me to say that My Beautiful Bride is one of the best drama offerings for 2015.

Watchlog (July 2015)

It’s downright scary how distant the dramas can be when you’re swamped with lots of things to do in real life, and it’s even scarier to have the thought of abandoning this space altogether. The good news is I’m still here, although not that frequent, but the drama watching and blogging activities have been reduced drastically, especially in the recent months. Still, I am proud that I have finished quite a number of dramas this year and it’s just fair to give a brief updates on which shows I am following these days…
