Magazine Monday – The Male Leads of Remember: Son’s War

After Park Min-young, it’s time to put the 3 sons of Remember in the limelight and here it is! Hold yourselves ready as we take some time to gaze at pictorials of Yoo Seung-ho, Namgoong Min and Park Sung-woong 😀

Yoo Seung-ho made his debut on television dramas in 2000 as a child actor, but his breakthrough came when he starred in 2002 film The Way Home, which was also his first movie. Since then he has been acting in various dramas and films, stabilising his status as a male lead. The first set of pictures was when he was featured on GRAZIA magazine as a comeback after military service.

GRAZIA February 2015

After he starred in MBC dramas I Miss You and Arang and the Magistrate, he enlisted for military service in March 2013 at a young age of 19 and was discharged in December 2014. He got right back to work and did 3 different acting projects last year. The first was Imaginary Cat broadcast on MBC Every 1, a drama adaptation of the webtoon with the same title where he played a web-comic writer and his story with a stray cat which he brought home. This was followed by a film Joseon Magician which tells the story of how famous magician Hwan-hee falls in love with a princess named Cheong-myung (Go Ara). Last but not least, he made his dramaland comeback in the above-mentioned SBS legal thriller 🙂

Park Sung-woong has starred in films more frequently than dramas, especially in the recent years and this is why his pictorials are mainly movie-centric. 2015 was the year he came back to the small screen, with 2 dramas namely tvN’s police thriller Hidden Identity and of course Remember 😉 First up would be his 1st Look pictorial for movie Tabloid: Dangerous Rumour alongside co-stars  Kim Kang-woo, Jung Jin-young and Go Chang-suk. The film is a conspiracy thriller about a manager (Kim Kang-woo) of an actress who gets caught up in a gossip scandal which he sets out to find the truth about.

However the young man becomes hungry for power and competes against his boss. Pictures below!

2015 was a great year for Namgoong Min, who earned high praises for his performances in SBS dramas The Girl Who Sees Smells and Remember as the antagonist. And 2016 is certainly looking good for him as he is confirmed to be starring in Beast’s Beauty as the main lead. It’s said to be a drama with an upbeat tone, telling the story of a falsely accused man who comes out of jail and becomes a human rights lawyer plus chaebol heir to seek revenge. The show will premiere on May 14 as a weekend drama on SBS. Most of the pictorials show us the actor as the hot, sexy and charismatic man he is 😉

Love this picture! ❤

BONUS! Actor Kim Jin-woo also starred in Remember as Kang Suk-gyu and stole many hearts with his portrayal as a judge with a strong sense of justice. I thought his bnt pictorial looked really nice with a variety of outfits that showed both his adorable and cool side 😄

  1. Enjoyed all the photos of “Remember” men, but please do Ji Chang Wook. After my 4 years of binge-watching kdrama, he became my favorite last year with “Healer” and “Empress Ki.” I bought all his DVDs but just can”t get enough!

Rant Out, Souls!
